Motivation and Habit

Jim Ryun, a former runner and politician once said, “Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.”  Congratulations to our students, as your motivation brought you to our career-technical center.  Now it’s time Ohio Hi-Point students start building those habits.

This is a special week at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.  This is the week that we dedicate teacher lesson’s and activities to celebrate the life and accomplishment of a local hero, Dr. Earl Sloan.  Today we kick off the celebration with a district-wide birthday party.

In other news, I have taken several calls on the status of Progress Book Parent Access.  Ohio Hi-Point will be sending out Parent user-name and passwords by Friday.  If you have any trouble attaining that information please give us a call.

Have a great week and remember Fall officially begins at September 22, 2010 at 11:09 pm EDT, which brings up my question of the week.  What are tricks or Rube Goldberg devices do you have to collect and dispose of leaves?
