On Wednesday, September 23, the Riverside FFA Officer Team attended the 4th annual Ohio FFA Legislative Leadership Conference (OLLC) held at the Ohio State House in Columbus.

The conference began with a presentation by a spokesman for the Ohio Farm Bureau about how FFA members can influence their elected officials on agricultural issues.  Riverside officers learned about lobbyist, politics and how decisions are done at the state house. Officers found it interesting thing to go to because they learned how the legislative branch works.

FFA members simulated working through legislative bills with constituents and members from both house and senate.
